Practical training is a hallmark of a Singapore Polytechnic education. That is why we devote a significant portion of curriculum time to hands-on experience in the institution's well-equipped laboratories and workshops. Adding to that, we have sealed numerous agreements with both local and multinational companies to embark on collaborative efforts such as training. Industry-based projects also form an important part of student projects as they inject realism and focus on areas vital to companies.

Riding the globalisation wave, the polytechnic has established strong academic links with various overseas institutions. Besides research collaborations, curriculum evaluation and R&D projects, they also provide industrial attachments for staff and students, and staff exchanges.
