Our teaching staff, with their many years of teaching and industry experience, offer students a good mix of knowledge of and perspectives on the globalised world. 

The commitment of the over 1,300 staff enables the polytechnic to realise its vision of producing graduates who are work-ready, life-ready and world-ready. This commitment extends beyond the campus as our staff have received many accolades and awards for their contributions to society and industry, living up to Singapore Polytechnic’s core value of excellence.

To ensure that the driving force of Singapore Polytechnic is in peak condition, staff are constantly upgraded on their teaching methods and techniques, and recognised for their in-house and industry achievements. Sabbaticals, exchanges at local and overseas institutions, internally organised workshops and training sessions are some of the programmes available to staff.

In addition, through consultancy work, joint projects and attachments, our staff keep themselves up-to-date with industry’s needs and the latest developments in their fields of specialisation.
