The nation’s first institution of its kind, Singapore Polytechnic’s progress parallels that of the nation. Over the years, we have successfully fulfilled our mission of educating and training skilled manpower to excel in work and in life, resulting in our longstanding reputation for excellence.

As part of our quest for excellence, Singapore Polytechnic has successfully met the requirements of the Singapore Quality Class, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and People Developer Standard schemes. Furthermore, we have received numerous accolades and awards such as the Public Service Award for Organisational Excellence.

Singapore Polytechnic offers a broad-based, multi-disciplinary and flexible curriculum dedicated to hands-on experience. We are also committed to the development of our applied research and development (R&D) capability to enhance the quality of teaching and commercialisation efforts.

We offer full- and part-time courses leading to diploma, advanced diploma, specialist and post-diploma qualifications. There are nine academic schools supported by various administrative and academic departments.

To keep up with the rapid changes in industry, the polytechnic offers a wide range of courses designed to meet the changing needs whether in business, design, engineering, information technology, life sciences, maritime studies, multimedia or optometry, to mention but a few.
